Nidaca is an island that formed many, many years ago from a great rumbling in the ocean floor. Once land arrived, the sun took its chance. Grass, trees, and many other greenery began to arrive. Eventually, the whole island was completely covered in dense forest.

Then another great ruble came, and it formed two mountains on either side of the island. One on the north side, and one on the south side. In between these two mountains a huge desert had formed. The mountains and desert alone take up half of the island. This destroyed much of the vegetation on that side of the island. The other half has a little of the old forest, and a grassland. This is now what Nidaca is.

The forest is no longer as dense as it was. There is easily four feet or more between each tree. The trees are big beyond comparison sizing up at at least 80 feet tall and 15 feet around.

The grasslands are full of rolling hills with little trees. You could stand at the top of one hill and see all the way across. Although, you wouldn't be able to see in the many dips from the hills.

Not too many years after Nidaca was complete, the first intelligent life forms arrived. The dragons came first, because they were the first to have the ability to search over water. When they found the island, they chose to have their main area to be the southern mountains. The dragons liked it here, as they could easily swoop down and warm themselves in the desert sun or fill their stomach in the grassland hills from the many mammals in it.

Shortly after the half-elves and the dwarves came. It was rather a coincidence, but neither knew the other came, as they both came on different parts of the island. The half-elves arrived, because they were fleeing their previous land, as the elves of that land didn't appreciate half breeds. The half-elves took a place above the forest on the northwest area of the island.

The dwarves cam in search of new rocks, as the could see the mountain on the island from their homeland. The dwarves took their place in the northern mountains.

The elves didn't arrive until a few years after the others. It was never clear why the elves came to the island, but some say it was to annihilate the remaining half-elves, although, no one is sure. They took their spot in the south-west area of the island.

This went on for a few years, because at first the four intelligent beings of the island were fairly small. As the races grew larger they acquired kingdoms. When the kingdoms started getting to small, the elves, half-elves, and the dwarves began to fight over land. The dragons stood on the sidelines helping a certain kingdom on occasion. Although if you went to the head dragons you might be able to become a rider and help out your kingdom greatly.
